I am having a hard time finding a place to mount the deepwater Acro, I want it to be fairly prominent in the tank! I like this piece too! This is an "ORA" farmed coral in the U.S. It is somewhat rare and really collectable. Great job in finding this coral Richard! http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...sbmw/010-1.jpg |
Tried a couple top down pix without a viewing box..... few more pics for ya.

Real sweet looking Ian.
 |
Wicked looking reef and love the 30" height of the tank. You were smart to leave as much space as you did at the top for continued growth of the SPS!

Wow... you have some HAPPY SPS... I have never seen polyp extension like that on SPS yet... at least not any other tanks I have seen.

Update...........
So I have been having a battle with my Calcium reactor for the last few weeks, my drip rate was nearly impossible to keep consistent! My alk would be either on the upswing or fall too low. This was causing me so much irritation as well as my corals I am sure. I found a peristaltic pump on ebay used, I was looking at these things new but had a hard time justifying the $300 plus price. i can now tell you that this is in the top three best purchases I have ever made for my tank. I can set the dosing rate from 3ml - 800ml per hour with the program buttons. I opened the valve on the top of the reactor completely, connected the dosing pump to the inlet at set the dosing rate. With a little tweaking over the past week I have now got a rock solid ALK reading. I can now simply up the dose or drop it depending on the Coral growth rates. I thought i would share this way of feeding a Calcium reactor and would highly recommend this to anyone having the same problems i used to have. http://s194.photobucket.com/albums/z...rent=001-1.flv http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...bmw/Sentry.jpg |
