New plan is to use the half inch acrylic thats ready. Already slotted also. Going to use glass braces on the inside. Going to paint the acrylic with Krylon Fusion black, which it seems many use in their tanks.

Why are you going to paint the acrylic?

Its clear acrylic.

Oh. It won't stick long-term. It will wear off. I've done that too.
