Thanks!

Been tweaking colors with some Aqua forest stuff.

AQ build has been doing some magic on the tank. New growth showing up on majorities of the corals

Guys, please keep in mind everyone's tank is different. My system is fairly low on nutrient so what's working on my tank will work differently on yours. Keeping a log and monitor your corals closely when dosing new products.

I know that the growth rate varies but

How long does it take for you to have a decent colony?

Depending on the coral it usually takes about a good year before it gets into colony size, mini colonies can be grown within 6 months. My tank has been up for 2.4 years now so the growth spurts were during the second half of the first year due to new tank trying to establish itself, it slowed down all the way till not too long ago I started to "feed" the tank it picked up again.

I appreciate the nice comments, keeps me grinding through these nice summer weather and still make time for the tank.

Looking great as always. Every time I read through an update on this thread I wish you lived closer purely for trading purposes.

Gorgeous Rich!!!

Have you thought of selling carbon credits with the amount of CO2 that the corals have bound into their skelies.

Thanks!

Water changes are done bi or tri weekly, that's I try to do it biweekly but some times it becomes 3 or sometimes 4...☺️ Summer time, too much to do outside. I do still run biopellets along with 1 no3 brick directly underneath my drain with no filter sock. I also have 1 marine pure block and a bag of marine pure bioballs. Recently set up a chaeto reactor using a tlf 550 reactor and strip light from jl aquatics, so far its working great. I haven't ran any phosphate and carbon media for a long time and running on a year and a half old 36w uv light. Hope that helps.

xho dimmerable led control

http://www.reefbrite.com/wordpress/w...d2-768x504.jpg

Bought one of these for my profilux.....came in with rj11 cat 5 connector but the profilux runs on rj45 phone jack connector. Contacted profilux north america support and Vince was so helpful he even sent pic on how to connect it to there lbf module.

http://cdn6.bigcommerce.com/s-cyq74d...0.1280.jpg?c=2

I did some testing and found the appropriate wires but after I assembled the unit one channel was working but the other one wasn't....45 minutes later scratching my head I decided to open up the dimmerable unit and found they messed up on the connection internally, one channel was orange wire for + and striped orange for -, the other one was green + and strip blue....wtf.....grrrrr. 2.5 hrs later...success!
