Oh shoot!! Its the first Flames game tonight!!! Don't worry I will change it right now.

That better?

Leah 09-21-2011 12:23 AM

And that toilet thing...if everyone puts the LID down, then there wouldn't be any issues with the seat up/down! Leaving the toilet open is disgusting.[/quote]

How do your dogs get a drink, when its closed?

Not even close. Bruins? Flames? That's like trying to decide which do you prefer: foot fungus or psoriasis?

Definitely not, I have 4 huskies & a Great Dane here on the acreage, my oldest momma Husky will actually flip the lip when she want a drink. The water in the toilet is actually fresher & cooler then from a bowl that has been sitting on the floor all day.

I clean and refill the bowls everyday. I pull water from the RO machine before the RO membrane (after sediment and carbon). I drink that water too. Our floors are concrete so they are nice and cool.

Peewee is a wussy princess...he would probably die if he drank from the toilet.

Roxy would be fine...she's not a princess, just a sweetheart. Although she does try to fit on the Chihuahua's bed so maybe she's not the brightest crayon. ;)

The Grizz 09-21-2011 02:20 AM

It much easier to deal with for just a couple dog then a pack like ours. Cute pic of Peewee

This is our ROXIE

Myka 09-21-2011 03:09 AM

Oooh, Roxie is pretty! What kind of Husky is she?

The Grizz 09-21-2011 03:27 AM

She is a Malamute Husky with a dash of berneisse mountain dog.

And this is her man & one of my big boys Zeus, Siberian Husky.

Myka 09-21-2011 03:34 AM

Oh, very nice! Are they pets or working dogs?

The Grizz 09-21-2011 03:35 AM

True pets more like children

Myka 09-21-2011 04:21 PM

I broke a heater lastnight, so I stole the one from my nano since I'm already using all my spares. Tank looked fine this morning, but as soon as the lights came on with the lowered temp the freakin Caulerpa went sexual. GRRR. I made up water for a change on the big tank, now I have to use it for the nano.

I sure am glad that I changed my avatar yesterday. Seems as though it was good luck. Only time will tell I guess. I will be happy if the flames make the playoff's this year.

Aquattro 09-21-2011 07:27 PM

I'm sure glad Facebook did that. sigh.....

First time in a few years.. so does this make it a resolution from.. 2009?

badfish! 10-08-2011 06:05 AM

Haha Yeah maybe... to say the least - I'm a procrastinator.

silentcivilian 10-08-2011 06:08 AM

Haha, starting to notice, but I think most of us are on here.. we procrastinate house hold chores, and other needed tasks for our tanks.

There are days my tank is an excuse to not get alot of other things done!

badfish! 10-08-2011 06:16 AM

Yeah... tomorrow  I will start cleaning my tank to bring it in the house (don't tell Grizz, but the tank stand is still in the back of my truck from last weekend  ).

silentcivilian 10-08-2011 06:22 AM

Lol... careful, or me and grizz may become tank elves and break into your house and setup everything.. so it gets done.. just make sure you leave everything out.. and ill have chocolate milk and cookies with that.

badfish! 10-08-2011 06:23 AM

Sweet! Chocolate chip?

badfish! 10-08-2011 06:35 AM

I'm making pumpkin cake right now for thanksgiving dinner (brown butter pumpkin layer cake to be exact). I just about dropped my pumpkins on the floor when I was taking them out of the oven :surprise:.

Yup, been there a few times. Its a family affair. Although we are all impressed because my brother is only 23. Came in the top 550 in the world for a race that is insane just to fathom doing :)

fishoholic 10-10-2011 07:58 PM

Note to self.....after doing a water change, before plugging in the auto top off, make sure the auto top off hose is inside the sump not hanging outside of the sump. My floor is now about 10g wetter then before
