Short update: Have not had time to re-do my rock but everything seems to be happy and healthy. Zoa's are growing like crazy, branching hammer has some new heads growing out nice, galaxy coral is super bushy. The only thing that is weird is my GBTA has moved under a rock and wont come out. Once I have this huge project down I will get the tank back to the way it should be.

I have changed some of my bulbs to see if things get better as far as growth and polyp extension. Took out my Figi Purple and Super Blue and replaced them with some 12,000K bulbs I have never used.

So now I have a mix of Coral Lite 10,000K, Oddyssea 12,000K and New Gen 14,000K. If it looks like things are improving I will pick up some new / better quality 12,000K bulbs as the Coral Lite and New Gens are only a few month old.

Looking at getting a controller, not sure of what kind yet but it will either be an APEX or Reef Keeper. Picking up a NextReef reactor for pellets from BW and going to convert both my TLF 150's to run carbon.

Grab some ZeoVit additives from Red Coral Calgary as well.

Hey Greg! Nice new additions...you might want to keep an eye on that red knob starfish though. They are not exactly "Reef safe". They have been known to eat soft corals, clams, other starfish, etc...

Cheers!

+1 if you have an urchin its days/ minutes are numbered. That red knobby star will also take down that new orange linkia. I had them much on corals too.

This one came out of a full mixed reef tank with many stars and urchins without any casualties but I will keep an eye on it for sure.

WOW I have only had the different bulbs in for not even one full day and I am already seeing a difference. My Duncans are starting to come back out, Clams are happy and wide open and my cup coral is showing some polyp's again.
