I've always thought of it like a plane being fuelled in mid-air. Steady as she goes

what was the movie where all of the whales left earth? one of the star treks? for some reason this made me think of that

christyf5 05-01-2010 12:45 AM

yeah that was the one. Star Trek XXIV: Where da whales go?

Geez, some nerds you guys are. The whales never left earth, they just died out, and the aliens who were their friends were ticked off when they came looking for them and couldn't find them. So Kirk and and New Spock went back in time to get a pair to tell the probe "No, no, we're here still, it's cool" and the probe went home without further ado. Sheesh! :p

You know I've never seen the whole thing. I always catch the last 5 minutes of it at the end when I see it on TV.

It's Star Trek IV The Voyage Home if anyone's interested. So I've heard...

That is unless you are confusing Star Trek IV with The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy where all the Dolphins left planet earth. There is also a whale in there as well but all he does is free fall for a while.. No whale humping Im afraid.

The new lids on the buckets of IO salt are stoopid. I nearly broke a nail.
