Some new additions:
Birds Nest, front frags from Kien, large frag on the right courtesy of Trina and the HUGE colony of tan BN from mws: http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...uild/NewBN.jpg Some new zoa frags from where else, Red Coral: Purple with peachy center's http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...d/IMG_6846.jpg Blue centered http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...d/IMG_6847.jpg And these one's in the center not sure what they are called http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...d/IMG_6848.jpg |
Here is what the zoa patch is looking like now:

Some new finned residence:
Pink face wrasse: http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...faceWrasse.jpg Another lawn mower blenny: http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...rLawnmower.jpg Sailfin tang, a rescue from another tank with Tai's help. I hope with proper care and feeding that his top fin will recover. His is very healthy other wise: http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...ailfinTang.jpg And the wife saw these at OC on Saturday and begged me to get her some: http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...Nudibranch.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...Nudibranch.jpg |
So now the plan is if the birds nest goes well the wife want's me to try the SPS again. First plan of attack is going to do some more fancy aqua scape, get the corals and 6 clams set up and happy, then find some nice relatively cheap SPS to try. So if anyone would like to donate some nice size piece's of SPS to the cause for a small price........... call me.

oO nice Nudies
Do those ones eat algea? I remember reading a past thread a few days ago about someone else who bought one of those... a Purple Nudibranch? and they said it only eats certain sponges.... |
Quote:
They sure do eat algea. The pink one has been racing around that tank since Saturday but the purple one is standing guard around what I think are eggs. So I might have a bunch of these to sell soon,. They do eat curtain type's of sponge but so far I have not seen them near my orange tree sponge. |
Wow, tank and new inhabitants really are looking good! Really hope the sailfin recovers for ya, they are such a beautiful fish. Great shot you got of your lawnmower.
lol, got the same purple with peach center zoa's as you did, was in Red Coral on Saturday, the hubby took me out fish shopping for father's day (backward's I know, but I ain't complaining ). |
We were there on Saturday as well around 3:30 ish, that's when I got them as well, as well as another clam (admitted clam and zoaholic ).
