I agree your pics look good to me:wink:...some pretty schweet schticks you got there Mindy...gonna be amazing when they fill in a bit...Do you use a tripod?...I found that really helped with my FTSs..

Myka 12-10-2009 01:49 AM

Thanks Doug! I can't wait for it to grow out in the next year. Should be looking respectable by then I'm hoping with any luck!! I don't have a tripod...maybe I should try that out.

Things are looking pretty groovy.

Thanks Greg! "Your" frags are all doing really well. The Bird of Many Colors is a real fast grower, and is showing awesome coloring now that it has acclimated to my tank conditions.

Here's a FTS with the halides on:

Is that 'sposed to be "Fugly"?

Myka 12-11-2009 12:45 AM

Yep, do you see him? I think he's cute.

Do you have a cover for your tank?

I just lost my filefish to jumping, so .. didn't think they were much for jumping they way they like to lie low, but ... well, guess any fish can jump. Anyhow, just a heads-up.

Myka;

Your tank and setup look fantastic! Great job on it!

And dang, nice blue rics! haha (not the only nice coral you've got, but they definitely stand out!).

Cheers,

Chris

Well, I finally got around to figuring out how to read that stupid KZ Kalium test kit. (btw GRRRR) So I am now confident that my potassium is 380 ppm +/- 10 ppm. I'm interested to see the results of maintaining potassium. I have heard great things, and my expectations are substantial (I loathe disappointment).

Hey Tony! I don't have a cover on the tank. The lights cover most of the open area, but it's still an open top. My tank is mainly occupied by fish known to be jumpers though. :eek: I hope to have my canopy built in January (but I'm a procrastinator).

Thanks Chris! Those blue Rics are farly fast growers too. They have sweet neon green mouths.
