That was the most I have ever paid for a zoa colony but if its anything like the pics you posted it will look KILLER in the nano and later in the 60 gal cube

jtbadco 01-19-2013 03:19 AM

I never had any intention of actually ordering them really.

Make no mistake.....I wanted them !!!! If had enough cash to even try to buy them I would have. If I had a little extra I woulda bribed the guy too. For reals.

But kudos to Grizz. Sure they'll look awesome in your tank. Make sure to post pics:lol:

The Grizz 01-19-2013 03:35 AM

But it sure was fun throwin jabs back & forth

So are these corals you actually have in your possession or more agreements with suppliers?

I am skeptical as these do not look like pics from BW.

All of the pictures of the corals on blue worlds website were taken at the store. I know this because I took most :). The reason some of the sps have different backgrounds is because we place a piece of black or white(ish) acrylic behind them as we find it helps isolate the coral in the photo.

The pictures Jon (freezetyles) posted are corals he purchased, and are sitting in his personal aquarium.

DAVE 01-19-2013 07:01 PM

Do you get/offer any wild SPS or just the cultured stuff?

Mainly cultured...but a few wild every once in a while.

Wanted to thank everyone for checking out our little coral shop! I am very excited to see how everyone likes their purchases.

We have new SPS up! Plus check out some of the awesome coral from our local community in the Farmers Market. Considering the short notice, we have some solid frags and I know we will get more!

What the heck, here are some photos of some new stuff

Hey Danny,, what's the stock # of that purple froggy? I may just have to grab it!

Xadieu 01-21-2013 02:16 AM

I like that bird's nest pink stock with teal polyps :D

FragIt Dan 01-21-2013 02:24 AM

I was in there today and recognize pieces from the pics. Colors are... true to color ;) or perhaps even better in person. The rose bubble tips are definitely better in person then in the picture, it does NOT do them justice :),

I find it silly that SOLD items are re-appearing on the website. If somethign is sold remove it and keep it off. It's distracting and not to mention the time saved from not answering availablity emails on them.

if it says sold you got your answer before asking dont you??

if it reappaears as "for sale" chances are it was grown out or just fragged again which is a good thing:)

Leah 01-21-2013 02:47 PM

Drooling over the Pocci! Geez!!! it sucks being stuck in the middle of nowhere.

Many pieces may not be removed from the website until they have actually shipped to the person who purchased them. Because it is far easier to add them up with the current software then removing them .

There is a lot of work that goes into maintaining both a retail store and and an online shop. We are still streamlining the process.

Thanks for the feedback. This is a software setting that we changed. We use the website as a pricing tool for in-store customers, and it was difficult to tell if a piece was sold, or we if had neglected to list it. We will at least style the sold items differently so that they're easier to differentiate and hopefully be less distracting.

FedEx doesn't deliver there??

FragIt Dan 01-21-2013 05:08 PM

You could always stick it on WestJet, it would probably be about $80 so you would have to make it worthwhile but that would not be hard :),
