I could imagine sitting there and drinking my morning coffee, afternoon Bailey's coffee, after dinner Spanish coffee. Yup could sit there all day.

The Codfather 01-13-2013 08:59 PM

Looks good, I'm going to have to get out there some day and have a look.

fishoholic 01-13-2013 09:33 PM

Those chairs look super comfy, what a great place to sit and relax and enjoy the view

I got the better view tho I can see out the back window and watch the golf course when the fish frustrate me

untamed 01-13-2013 11:22 PM

I REALLY like what you've done. Then again, I'm sitting beside something very similar, so I had better like it!

Not sure if you noticed yet or not but it was it tank that inspired us, had to change up rock used and style of bar ledge so it didn't look like a complete copy. I spent so many nights reading your thread and the pictures of your build. Heck I even copied your stand framing

Sweet

I just read through your thread. Ypu have done a great job of creating a very attractive and well thought through tank. The rock work and ledge gives it a great apperance - very good!

Thanks again for picking up the frags and pump for me, enjoy your new additions

Delphinus 04-15-2013 04:21 AM

Wow the purple of the carpet really pops.

Happy with the 4 lights so far? I recall earlier you said something about maybe adding more down the road if need be.

Ill grab some pics of the green carpet later here for you too, as for lighting Iam on the fence i have them programmed right now and it looks really natural more on the yellow side but it looks like the tank is sunlit. I might want them more on the blue side for ascetics more than anything tho. Lights are about a foot above the tank and max power at 60 % we have had to move corals and clams under ledges as they were bleaching. That being said i think i could have gotten away with 3, I dont have much rock work in here but really nice coverage.

BlueTang<3 04-15-2013 12:35 PM

Here is a crappy shot but the tank is really well lit I think

Amazing work. I love the raw wood mantle edging you have done ... it looks phenomenal. The stone and raw wood go very well together. It looks like cottage decor ... beautiful.

Top-dogg 04-20-2013 10:56 PM

It was nice to see it in person. Rock work alone looks awesome on every angle.

BlueTang<3 04-21-2013 12:20 AM

Well nothing to update I bought a boat and spend the summer fishing ", now this winter stupid busy with work.

We had a bad year added one more fish into the tank and got a disease lost 30 of my fish I had for 5 years or so
We were gone on a fishing trip this summer and the power went out for a while I guess, lost all my corals except one clam I had so that sucked.

This morning I woke up and my 13 inch maxima we had for years is gone looked fine yesterday.

Still having algae issues in the tank cut back lighting doing lots of water changes and running zeo

Heard dead rock can leach for over 18 months well I am over 12 in now so here's hoping.

I will update once my Christmas presents arrive .
