I've got a few frags of that one, stupid tangs snapped it off the rock making frags for me!! I re glued it lower in the tank and its more of a darker red now..

Throw me a text maybe we can line up a time and I can buy a piece off ya!

Looks great very nice set up and the colours are amazing.

I have a sneaking suspicion you bought a new fish Larry, I seen an empty tank missing a fish "somewhere".

lol, I'll grab a pic in a week or so. Almost feel bad for the new guy, Quick stay in quarentine then into the display as the smallest tang in there...needles to say the yellow and purple tangs beat the heck out of him for 24hrs. Alls good now, swimming and eating like a champ, just need a little time for some nipped fins to grow back...

soo, being the long weekend I found myself bored this afternoon so i decided to clean out my overflows. Hadn't done it yet since setting up the tank and they were crusted up to the point that I couldn't see into them.
syphoned all the crud out pretty easy, found a few things hiding in them that shouldn't have been...

-pink spotted shrimp goby
-pepermint shrimp
-leopard wrasse
-blue throat trigger!!

CRAZY!!!

wow, that is crazy:surprise:.....how long had each of the fish been missing?

lol, well the goby just jumps back in every time so for the last 7-8 months I've just been feeding the overflow..lol. The shrimp I'm not sure, the wrasse I assumed was nabbed by an evil crab, and the trigger had to have been in the last 24hrs.

Methinks it's time to cover those overflows before you lose your cat or a child or two. :mrgreen:

oh!.....and the minimum recommended overflow size for a trigger is 5"x8"....do you meet those requirements?:razz:

Crazy I'm glad you found your fish.

I thought about covering them before but I think the goby knows the overflows are there. I'm scared if I cover them that I'll find him tanning under the halides one day...
