Very Nice Josie. Your corals are beautiful, and your fish look healthy and happy.
|
Great video! :)
|
Looks great!
|
thanks!
For your info the music is the piece call P.S. from Vangelis, on the cd named Voices. I found it in DH big audio-library and I just make a reseach on it and found out it was used in a 1998 documentary Deep Seas, Deep Secrets co-produced by The Learning Channel and Discovery Channel!! |
I agree....tank looks great!
|
I love that plate coral with the tree/mushroom cloud growing out of it :-)
Nice video as well. (I'm not being critical just gonna give a suggestion, try holding the camera with two hands, placing your elbow against your chest, or grabbing your camera wrist with your other hand, all of these methods can help to stabilize your shots.) |
Thanks Greenmaster!
I welcome your suggestion :) the video was made with a low cost cam, a sanyo vpc-hd100. http://images.milo.com/images/shrink...30_500X500.jpg the thing I really dont like is the FTS... the MH makes it too bright and the real colors dont show :( |
how do you put a video in the post??
I was able to do it in other forum.. :( |

hmm, I was just at the vbulletin site and it seems we need the tags to insert a youtube video. For some reason it will do most other videos (photobucket etc) but not the youtube ones. I'll ask Titus what is up and hopefully he can fix it for us
|
thanks christyf5!
I was starting to think I was not interring the codes right... |
christyf5: when it's fix maybe we could do a "show us your reef videos" tread!
 |
Yes we can definitely do that!
I talked to Titus and the video tags aren't available in our version of vbulletin but we do have an upgrade coming up soon so it should be available then. Stay tuned  |
YAY! then my DIY videos will entice more people to click them :D I'm up to 300 views each... over 450 for the fist one.
|
the same video (second) but in vimeo this time (to see if it's different from youtube :) )
josie 150g reef vimeo |
I'm shopping for a camcorder (or a camera that makse good videos!) to make video of my reef.
My budget is 500$. Any suggestion? |
This is slightly more but this is what I used to do my DIY rock on my thread to give you the idea of what it is.... the quality in real life is way better then online I just didn't want to upload that big of a file... also almost all of my pictures taken in the last 2 months are with this camcorder. (most pictures have been resized in "paint" so they are not the best quality... size was more important then quality)

These are some of the places near you that have one in stock.
It's $550 but I like it... if I had to chose one in this price range I would buy it again.
