Amazing pictures as always, looks great. Did you get a new fuzzy dwarf lionfish? Looks like it from the 1st pic.
|
Very nice tank and great pictures. I think you should change your build thread title to "trimless" just to statisfy Mindy (aka Myka). :)

Do you mind sharing what settings and photographing methods you're using on your camera to get photos like that? They're stunning!

All beautiful. Nice job. I was interested in a night-time full tank/room shot to see about light pollution. We're just trying to decide what we're going to do for our next tank. We love the rimless idea and your tank is a great example. Thanks for the inspiration!

nice

What are the dimensions on your tank?
|
More photographic gold man. Especially like that last coral what is it? Ricordia?
Are you using feathering on your edges? |
Looks like a closeup of a killer chalice to me.

After removing the backgrounds I apply an inside shadow to eliminate any harsh lines so yeah kind of a feathering effect although I don't use the feathering feature. |
I got a rimless 100gal built last year 48 X 22 X 22, I thought yours looked a bit longer than mine.

A delayed, thanks!!! :D
How's your tank doing these days? Quote:

Tank is pretty good, the reduced skimming is improving LPS and other coral health but of course it's also increasing algae and since I don't have any algae eating fish it's hard to keep under control. However some of the algae growth is probably connected to a lower than usual ALK and Ca levels since I've added a few clams and corals while also cutting back on water changes. I'm going to be setting a dosing system right away to keep levels up which should help. Couple new pictures of new additions: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...2009/Nov09.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...09/Nov09_1.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...09/Nov09_2.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...09/Nov09_4.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...09/Nov09_5.jpg |

Very cool pic. although I've never seen a lion fish with purple and blue colouration?? Is it a reflection from something else? or is it like Christy's tang that sometimes looks very purple but really it's blue? Just wondering.
