well all the gtr's run the rb26dett which is a great motor but sadly they all have problems with the oil pump. which in turn fails and it's time for a new motor. with the gts models they came with a rb20det in the r32's and rb25det in the r33 and r34 which is a great motor and has huge potential.

but you are refering to the bee-r r32.4 front end swap which is absolutely gorgous. There is actually one roaming around in alberta up in edmonton and a few in BC

and also Weissach in Vancouver had a r34 gt-r for sale. no idea how but its not on their site anymore

My 89' chev-ota

I haven't been "wheelin" for quite a while so it just sits in my garage but man was it fun to play in the mud (I'm actually considering selling it)...

Some mods are,

- 14 inch lift
- Solid front axel conversion
- Chev 350 engine conversion

Same engine I have in my 300. No slouch by any means and I'll be adding a supercharger this summer also. If you think it makes your truck move along nicely.......... Drop it in a car and hang on. I really like this engine for some reason.

Here's a pic of one of my mustangs, It's a '78 Cobra I picked up a couple of years ago as a parts car. It was so rare and unusual I decided to restore it back to original instead. It's a factory 4cyl car and with the green stripe package it's believed less than 100 were made.

I love those Mustang 2's. Seems funny to see "COBRA" on a 4 cylinder Mustang.

But that's a great looking car. I'm glad you decided to restore it instead.

I know it wasn't you - and you'd have enough brains not to give an 18yr old an anniversary edition 'vette... So he can loose it at 50

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i2...e/DSCF1717.jpg

Truck was thrown 30' - that cavalier in the background was parked about 10' in front of me... But he was only doing 50 - not that i'm bitter :D

Ryan 04-21-2009 03:09 AM

Hey my buddy has a truck just like that one except his is camo and has a AM snorkel not a DIY one.

Rbacchiega 04-21-2009 03:23 PM

50 my a.....

anyways, that's a shame. What if there'd been little ones....*shakes head* the guy deserves a good kick.

AndyL 04-21-2009 03:58 PM

Glad we don't live there anymore - things could have been much worse... Buddy lost his license for a month - but that was for the bus stop he took out stunting in his camaro 2 weeks prior. And I hear he now drives something even faster with more HP...

One of the police at the scene - after being told he was doing 50 - very loudly says - miles?

Ron99 04-21-2009 04:38 PM

Yeah, to much tolerance for crap from teens these days. I actually followed some dumb a$$ into his high school. He was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic and passing in the oncoming traffic's lane on a fairly rainy day. In the end I think he got to his school about 30 seconds quicker. I followed him in and gave him an earful. The Vice Principal was outside and came over so I told him what had happened and he said he would speak to the kid and his parents. Don't know if he did but I'm tired of Canadian apathy. I see teens heading in and out of the high school driving like idots all the time. People need to speak up and do something when we see stupidity. living on the west coast I see alot of really dumb driving. Not sure why but it seems to be a west coast thing :-(

bignose 05-23-2009 02:16 AM

I don't have this car. But I bet this would turn more heads(and then laugh) than anyone of these vehicles.

watch the whole video for lots of laughs:lol:
Jeremy drives the smallest car in the world at the BBC - Top Gear - autos

Ron99 05-23-2009 03:45 AM

Yeah, I've seen this. Pretty Funny. Top Gear Rocks!!!

bullit67 05-23-2009 04:29 AM

For those that dont know you can view top gear on BBC Canada my PVR is set to record all of them by far the best car show on the air

Ron99 05-23-2009 04:44 AM

Even better, go to finalgear.com and you can usually find the very latest BBC episodes long before they air on BBC Canada

bullit67 05-23-2009 01:32 PM

I will check that out all the episodes on BBC Canada are real old as far back as 2002 but still a hoot to watch

Sounds like your 928 is gonna be real nice!

You're so lucky having a Porsche tech as a buddy. If I had that I would probably save myself at least $1000 a year!

It's cost me $1200 for a service & fluid change, $1000 for front rotors & pads & $120 for a set of locking bolts already this year and it's only March! But they did give me one of their trucks to drive whilst the work was being done.

My 987 is totally stock. It's probably the slowest car Porsche make (I don't count the truck!) but it's totally awesome to drive. Especially when the sun's out.

I drove the Cayman S & I was blown away. I think with the '09 model being available with LSD it's probably the best handling current Porsche. I'd love to have one but my want for a convertible took over.

Do you go out for Porsche meets with PCA Vancouver or any other club?

Any more Porsche owners on Canreef?

.

Whoa very nice Lyndsy!

Flash 04-24-2012 07:02 PM

thanks Jason! I am pretty proud of her... I was already paying a car loan and I knew my other car was going to start to cost me $$.. so it was either put $$ into it... or get what I really want with a current warranty, have them pay out the rest of my loan on the other car and get rid of it... so I traded it in! got $17,000 off asking price so i am a happy camper!!! drives like a dream! has the new sync options and i don't pay for any oil changes or maintenance for 5 years! lol! Plus it felt great to drive a truck off the lot with 9 km on it! lol!

lastlight 04-24-2012 07:51 PM

i loved my truck too. when i decided to take my '08 taco back and get a matrix to save on gas, the sales guy actually apologized as he handed me the keys to my gutless new 4 cylinder.
