Sooooooo.....still haven't heard a ship date or method of shipping.....would really like to know.

Monday arrival is not possible as I ship via courier, and courier are not open Sunday here.

Method - courier. Date, well there are quite a few people involved. What day would be best for arrival???

I hadn't asked for shipping out on Sunday I had asked for shipping out on MONDAY. The entire order is being sent to me....everyone lives out of town, and that's why we are trying to get it sorted out so people can plan their schedules. And I can plan for the arrival of the frags to my house, and be home for the courier. I would like it sent out on Monday so if there are any hold ups they will still arrive before the weekend. Thank you

Small, but yes sharp. I would plan on keeping it under moderate light. This was in the frag tank for some time, but in my display it is up high, and gets indirect light from my 400W 20K halide.

So.............just checking up on our package. In fact, I even called UPS to make sure it would be gettin' there on time. When I call UPS, the tracking folks indicate next day express delivery is not available!!!

I recall checking if next day express End of Day was available when we started this order, and my UPS store yesterday indicated next day express end of day was available and that is what I paid for (paid A LOT for).

I check again online, and now it say only 2 day arrival..........my UPS store's computer days one day is possible...........:mad:

My UPS store just called back and said the package will be there by the end of the day...........

So group order - is next day express availabe to Campbell River???

I honestly have never had anything shipped via UPS...I always fly stuff here so can't answer that well....maybe Christy may know? Hopefully it gets here today......will let you know as soon as it shows up....

Hmm, through Purolator I get stuff overnight. Not sure about UPS, I try not to use them as they suck here. The last shipment I almost didn't get before a long weekend :eek: I had to call the main office to track it down, finally got here at 6:30pm on a friday. I think it just rode around on a truck all day and they figured they could deliver it whenever :rolleyes:

Well, my UPS store called their UPS contact and apparently is will be there today before the end of the day, 8pm at the latest, it show express get it there nest day, expediated is 2 day...hope they are right!

I remember that night :) UPS managed to come through though, I am hoping that happens again today! If not, I will be concerned about the SPS.

and now they call and say they are not sure if it will be there today.......two different divisons of UPS say different things...........this is new :neutral:

I dont get how a company can charge for a service (overnight delivery) if it isnt even available at the destination location?

Did you take the box's in person to UPS when you shipped them?

It DOES suck having to sit home for one day waiting on a package, then when it turns into 2 days.. its double suck. You guys owe Sarah big time!:mrgreen:

...and for those involved in the order, and perhaps for those reading along, buyers absorb no risk when the shipping company does not deliver the package the day it is expected. Sad to see the corals not survive in the event of substantial delays (very very rare), however buyers are always taken care of. Also FYI, LPS and zoas typically survive 2 days shipping the way I pack, however SPS are susceptible to losses in the event they do not arrive next day.

PM and email sent to Dave...one frag is broken..but not ruined by any means. They all look OK....bit chilly but very well packaged. Am acclimating Christy, Lance and Marie's stuff to my frag tank...has a MH so all should be happy...will post pics later tonight or tomorrow.....and all will be kept very straight for who has what!:biggrin:

And...might I say those are some extremely nice corals everyone got!!! WOW, do you think you'd notice if a coral or two were missing??? Ha ha....nice order though.

no worries about that one sps that came off the plug, this can happen during shipping

better chilly than hot, but I think it it time to go with 2 40hr heat packs per container.

That PINK DIGI is really freakin pink! And the Superman Digi...wish I had ordered one!

This was sooo well packaged....all the corals look they they were just picked up at the LFS they are all looking great! Polyps out...great color!

Got a couple of freebies too.......some Epoxy etc....will let everyone know what's up for grabs...

And Lance and Marie...just let me know what you need to get them to ya....I have a great tank for them while we figure it all out..so no hurry!

I can do a walk-on the ferry thing on the weekend, if you don't mind meeting me there, unless Marie has something else in mind.

I have no problem at all driving to the ferry to meet you...easy as pie. Only about .5 hr away. Just let me know! :biggrin:

That sounds cheaper then the alternative I had come up with. I asked my daughter if she wanted to spend 3 hrs on a ferry and she said she would if I would pay to get her face pierced :lol:

Thanks for the positive feedback. Since day one I have purchased the best packaging materials I can find, not cheap but worth every penny. I do applogize however for how difficult the bags can be to to open...but the system works for me.

The pink digi is really nice (requires high light). And that superman digi is a really unique coral also. The real deal, and one of my favorites.

Very pleased this order arrived - I was gettin' a little stressed!

I would not recommend fragging Marie's superman digi...yet (Sarah knows what I mean). What is lacks in size, it makes up for in colour and wickedness :)

did that sveral hours ago when I read it arrived, then enjoyed the actinics and fed the eels

Maybe getting extra holes put in the head isn't that expensive after all :lol:

Heck Marie...I could poke the holes in her face and charge you corals! (I did this for a while when I was deciding what I wanted to be if I ever grew up...did several months-weekends and some weekdays at a piercing shop as an apprentice! Then I went back to my day job)
