Ed, since this thread is getting quite big and searching for people changes etc might be a bit complex, I suggest everyone PM's you their final order. That way you can compile the final list to post for us at your convenience.

OK, here is the list as near as I can figure it. Tony's abalone are in at J&L, so this needs to happen soon if he is to be part of it. I would like to have it finalized by Sunday evening. I will post the final order then for last minute corrections. I will place the order Monday evening and arrange the shippment for later in the week (ideally Thursday or Friday). If there is no stock on any of the items (aside form the main cleanup crew) the order will go ahead without those items if that is acceptable to all. We a very close to the numbers for the largest cleanup crew package, assuming all participants are still in. So, if anyone would like to up their numbers to put it closer, I'll just order that and make it simpler. That would leave a few extras for those who missed out or change their minds and want a few more.

I will send a PM to each person on the list to confirm their orders. I must recieve your confirmation to include your order. If you are not on the list, PM me with your order. If you want out, PM me. If you want to change your order, PM me. I live near to the airport (NW, just off Deerfoot) - if that is too far for you to come for pickup and you want out, PM me. If you're happy and you know it, PM me :razz: (well not really). Remember no confirmation by 6PM on Monday means you're out.

Once I have the final tally and place the order, I will finalize the shipping cost for each person. I expect it should come in for the base shipping charge of $45.50 plus the box charge. We can either do it as a simple split, everyone pays the same, or as a percentage of the total order. Let me know which is fairest.

I will post updates as I get them to this list. It will be in the same location, so you can refer back to it.

I will get in touch with J&L today to start this order. I will let you know what the status is once I've done that. Same deadlines apply at this time, but I may be able to extenfd them depending on what I find out from J&L.

I will also talk to them about payment options. If they are ok with handling seperate payments, I will go that route. If not then I will make the payment and collect from each person.

I just contacted J&L with regards to the order. Here is how it stands as of now.

Everyone must place their orders with J&L and pay for them or they will not be included. Talk to Jeff, the order is under Tony's name. The order will be shipped out with Tony's order on Monday night, arriving here on Tuesday. The reason for that is because they cannot hold Tony's special order livestock longer than that. Also unfortunately, that means I cannot pick it up as I am working on Tuesday, unless it can wait at the depot until I get off work after 5:30. I will be home that evening and much of Wednesday for pickups if that is the preffered option. Otherwise, if Tony or someone else can handle the pickup and distribution that might be better.

So we each have to make our own order through J&L? And then we pay them? If so, I'm out.. I have no credit cards or anything to order online. Sorry guys... I thought we were just going to transfer the funds to the person making the order, but it's all good.

Let me know if I'm mistaken.

If you can Pay-pal the funds to me, I will add it to my order. I just figured that given the size of the order, it was better to let each cover their payments directly.

Hey, how's that clam doing by the way?

So far so good, I haven't moved it to the main tank yet. Its happily keeping my school of chromis company in my QT. I placed it on a half shell and after a few tip-overs, it seems to have finally secured itself.

called Jeff and placed my order. If you aren't getting the order at the airport just let me know where to pick it up. I would offer to do it but unfortunatley my tuesday PM is full of meetings but I can get out of the office by about 4:00 ish.

It looks like Tony is going to be picking it up at the airport since I'm working all day too. That means we'll all get to go to Tony's to get our stuff.

As soon as the shipping arrangements are firmed up (should be later today) I will be sending PM's to all involved. Generally shipping is split up on a per bag basis. I.e., if there are 10 bags altogether and you have, say, 2 bags, then you're on the hook for 20% of the shipping. IME it is usually divied up already and itemized on your invoice from J&L.

PS. If for some reason Tuesday doesn't work for anyone, now would be the time to say so.

Well, I missed out on that one. I just called and they said everything was already invoiced. Plus, they don't take Amex or use Paypal so I guess I couldn't order anything anyways! :cry: If there is any left overs let me know.

I'll be looking to order some clean-up crew in about 2 weeks tops if anyone left out is still wanting to put an order in. I need snails and a peppermint shrimp, as well as something to stir my sand.

Im gonna need a few more snails, a sifter or 2 of some sort (Cucumber or maybe a starfish)... and maybe a few inverts

UPDATE

Package is arriving on a flight tomorrow morning at 9:30am.

I didn't get a chance to call J&L before they shipped the package out already, so all I know is that there's a box coming our way, and instead of divvying out the shipping costs it's all been billed to me. :( So I'm trying to figure out who's getting what, but looking back at the list, I have some confusion as there are a number of people who are listed as "confirmed" but then I see later on posting that they're out.

So I have no idea what's coming and for whom. If you are expecting something on this order, can you please PM me ASAP. Let me know - 1) that you are expecting something and 2) what it is that you're expecting. That way I can try to estimate each person's shipping component.
