What kinds of corals do you find the filefish eat? I'm thinking of trying one in my softy tank. I doubt they will munch leathers or nems but a little concerned about candycanes.

Both are fine but as Kraken said, would rather prefer the file as the copperband is harder to keep.

The minute you kill them with these methods, they will release more spores. I personally found it best to try and grab the rock out and torch it for a good 10 seconds. Aptasia went rampid in my tank. AptasiaX was great at the onset but got progressively worst!

I decided to purchase a coral banded butterfly. It worked great eating all the aptasia.......along with the rest of my corals!

Just need to find the right copper banded butterfly.

I tried everything.. only success was I bought 8 peppermints lol. Starved everything in myvtank for a week orso.. I cut down the feedings I mean.. aptasia was gone in 2 weeks..
