Did you loose power too? Just wondering how your tank is doing? Anyone know anything about Greg's (Snappy's) tank? Hope everything is ok

Greg's tanks should be fine, he's pretty far away from the evacuated areas.

Sorry to hear you lost a few of your fish. I can't imagine what you and the folks in Calgary are experiencing but it has hit home for me to make certain I have an emergency kit available at all times as this can happen to everyone regardless where we live. I prey for you and your family and everyone affected by the flood to remain strong as you will get through this.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and support. I have provided a somewhat lengthy and novelized update of my situation in tank thread.

Kien,

Weren't you at the Boston Marathon during the bombing too? Now the record floods in Calgary.

No offence bud, but stay East of the Rockies:wink::razz: They say "disasters happen in 3s":surprise:

JK. I really love how the reefing community has again shown its great heart in a time of crisis. Just awesome people.

Yes, you are correct. I was at the Boston bombin's too! However, I like to look at it another way. I have horse shoes up my butt as I appear to have escaped both events unscathed !

.. stay tuned for my next calamity where I will likely be escaping raging forrest fires.

On the bright side... it probably won't be for a day or two...things might need to dry out a we bit. :twised:
