Amazing that you can keep your tank cleaner and healthier than the tank I have seen that runs with skimmer, and you do water change only every 2 months. Wow ... I wish I could do that too.

Wow this tank looks amazing! I love your rock flower anemone collection!

I do water changes every 2 to 3 months, and I use tap water.

Thanks, Rock Flower Anemones are my favorite anemones. They are beautiful, rarely wander around the tank and come in many different colors. Here is the latest addition. It was picked up today and with this one I know have 14 Rock flower Anemones

Gulp  ... May I come to your place one day to listen to your lecture to learn how to do less water change ... and using tap water too ?

Amazing. What filtration is there? Looks like a shallow (very clean) sand bed. How often do you clean the glass?

Vancouver, especially after the upgraded water treatment system put in place for the Olympics, has some of the highest quality tap water in the world. I haven't had my RODI unit in place for about 3 years. So, as you can see from Daniel's system, it is possible to use tap around here and keep it KISS. Again, great job on this nano my friend.

Sure, I am sure we could work something out.

The main filtration for this set up is the liverock, nothing else is used. I believe the sandbed is about 1" deep and I clean the glass every day. It;s no needed to clean the glass everyday, but I like to do it anyway

I totally agree with you on this.

It's stunningly bright, I bet it's incredible in person. Everything seems to really thrive in his tank so I'm sure it will recover.

I was at Bayside today and they said one of their Rock Flower Anemones was going to Vancouver. Another addition of yours perhaps?

How did the baby Rock Flower Anemones you had make out?

I did get in touch with Colby, but I have not made up my mind about buying those that he has in stock right now. I already have 14 and I don't think I have room for more, but that could change if I find a really beautiful one :-)
