That sucks, it all melted? I saw the frag set aside for you (last Sat.) and one of the polyps on it was open and looked really good.

Go big my friend. Single polyp frags are just silly......you are probably doubling or tippling your chance for disappointment.

It would be 3 polyps or nothing for me. And if you absolutely can't afford more morphs find a friend to buy the other morphs and when they grow out you can trade back and forth.

Could not agree more I paid 1200 for 8 small frags of zoas never lost one and now they are growing like mad totally worth it considering all the stories I read and hear of the frags I got melting.

++1 Seem they do much better when there is at least 3 polyps.

Both my blue hornet and purple hornet 1 polyp frag melted. 100$ down the garbage.

I later got a 5 polyps frag that is doing very well. Maybe you would be better off to start with larger frags with less variety and when you can frag them then get some other variety.

It is so sad how many beautiful paly and zoas are available in the USA and so little here in Canada.

+1 on both accounts, single polyp frags have stupid death rates.

Well, he states that for the last 100 frags, hes only had to replace 3 of them and is giving me a live guarantee. He will replace any that are doa within a reasonable timeframe on the next order so it makes me feel better. Payment has been sent and the shipment should be sometime next week to give the new frags some time to heal. Now Im excited again... :bounce:

Cool! good luck with all of them. Those are absolutely awesome.

If I had such collection I would definitly put up a zoa only tank, so that nothing would possibly interfear with them. I would be so scared of losing them! lol!

Hope they multiply well! show us some pics :)
