today ,I went to the Gold.It is small, and don't have many marine fish. Some chinese work in there. But they can't speak mandarin.
|
Try Wai's maybe (16th Ave NW across from Peter's Drive-In), or Ocean Aquarium (Center St north at about 24th ave). You might have better luck there, but I'm not sure about the Mandarin.

Mandarin the fish or language?
Couldn't resist, plus you Calgarians like this post padding, I thought I'd try. |

I don't really shop at this store, but, ... I understand that they get their shipments in on Thursdays (they are closed on Thursdays). So the best practise is to check with them on Fridays for the best selection. I hope this helps. And, somebody, please feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken on the days. But I'm pretty sure it's Thursdays that the shipments arrive. |

AJ_77: you mean only chinese provide aquarium services??
ruck'n'reefer: Mandarin is not a fish, but not a language. Mandarin and Cantonese have same word, but pronunciation is difference. Delphinus: It is good suggestion.I will try. EmilyB: How are you? |

I am good Rick. Want to know where to get the best wonton soup in the city....
Just go to Wais and walk down the mall a bit.... |
Actually, I heard that Won-ton King out in Foothills industrial park gets top ratings, too. Between them and their other restaurant downtown, they go through 4000 won-tons per day!
