I was also following that thread as I was looking into purchasing 2 Vortech pumps from BRS (in America) but according to the closed thread I would be recieving no warranty, for a brand new product at a cheaper rate. You can purchase these pumps from an American store and you will still get a warranty. However, If you sell them and warranty is still valid the new buyer does not get this warranty transferred to him.

I have an MP10 and if you read the fine print on the box or manual you'll verify that the warranty it's not transferable.

What they say means nothing if the product goes wrong. They can tell you whatever they want to say on the phone. Tell them to put it in writing, sign it by a manager and date it. That will put an end to this whole fiasco. If they refuse, you have your answer.
