love the color buds looks great job well done on the Tek lighting

yellowworld 10-15-2011 08:46 AM

Thanks Asmodeus. I got some new bulbs on the way I was looking for a bluer look but I have to agree everything looks great in that light. Im really surprised how fast my rock coloured up, everywhere I look i see coraline its nuts its only been 3 and a bit months since i put the rock structure in the tank however its been cycling for about 6-7 months with a few pieces of live rock so maybe thats the secret to my success

That Frankenlight is pretty impressive, TOTAL coverage.

I love the sunken destroyer too, sometimes people take their reef tanks too seriously, nice to see someone else who thinks they can be fun.

yellowworld 10-15-2011 06:28 PM

Frankenlight haha I like that. It is massive but the tank is pretty deep, 2 and a half feet deep to be exact, the 6 bulb just couldn't cut it and they don't make the 8 bulb anymore and no one has them or if they do they are holding on tight to them

I love my destroyer! its like everything in my tank is massive in comparison to it, it makes my tank its own little fantasy world haha. I got some greek ruins in my other 15g nano tank too haha

GracieLou 10-15-2011 07:36 PM

Wow, really digging the destroyer!! Never thought something like that would "fit" a reef tank... but I love it!!!

yellowworld 10-15-2011 10:26 PM

Thanks Gracie, i never saw the reason why other ppl havent done it before, once stuff starts to grow on it they look right at home. This is my nano with greek riuns built into the rock work
