After celebrating not being dead in a fiery apocalypse for the past couple days (a rather libatious celebration mind you) I feel the need for MUZAK!

If ye be feeling mellow, I recommend taking one of these...
Alt-J - Dissolve me

If ye be feeling bouncy...
Kishi Bashi - Bright Whites

If ye be wantin' to turn the bass up like a boss, then have a go at this one...
Dada Life - Happy Hands and Happy Feet

And if that got ye warmed up, then give this one a spin...
Bloc Party - Talons (Phones R.I.P. Remix)

If ye be feelin' mixed emotions somewhere between gangsta rap and country, I suggest one of these...
Hugo - 99 Problems

If ye be wantin' something just awesome, give this a go...
Flobots - Rise

And the catchiest damn tune in town! (warning: you'll be humming this for a week)...
Macklemore + Ryan Lewis - Thrift shop

The new Wiz Khalifa album O.N.I.F.C is really really good.. He laid a couple eggs but most of the tracks are bumpin'. Highly recommend you listen to it front to back, as they seem to flow together.

Been reading some cool articles about Mars today, so today get's some wicked space inspired music...

Super Spacey, Big and Bass-y:

Plastician - Japan

Super groovy tune (which get bonus points for being a totally badass live performance):

Jan Blomqvist - Something Says

Cuz everyone loves space chicks:

Only ones - Another Girl, Another Planet

I'm pretty sure Alf was listening to this when he flew back home:

Electric Light Orchestra - All over the world

And if you just feel like having your brain melted:

Mt. Eden - Sierra Leone

I hope these haven't been covered yet

After a nasty day at work, I like to crank stuff like this in my truck on the way home. It helps to blow off steam before I get home ...
Thank you Alpine for making my ears bleed :twised:

Cheap Trick - Gonna raise hell
Max Webster - Battle scar

gregzz4 04-28-2013 02:39 AM
