If that is true, it leads one to come to the inevitable conclusion that the survival rate is probably not very high in nature. :eek:

Life in the ocean can be harsh .... 1 in 1000 survival rates, or less ... not that uncommon for a great number of species. Crustaceans, fish, other inverts, sea turtles, .... etc. Unfortunate for some individuals, true, but nevertheless it is a fairly stable environment (assuming we don't wreck it ourselves..)

Hey Kim ... fishfood I am afraid :sad: :cool: ... kind of torn on the whole thing as I would like to see some grow up but on the other hand it feeds the tank ... seems there are always eggs now ... they are like rabbits those two :eek:

ya it would be nice to see them grow up, but the extra work would be the minus.

Fresh food is a "good thing."
