Like Doug all the money in the house is our money. But we budget so each of us has a set amount of mad money every month and what I spend that money on my business.

Maybe someone can help me out with this one...

"Pay 80% beforehand and 20% with her there" or "pay cash so it's not traceable"

I still have the problem of extracting the 80% or the cash from the account. Either way she'll know I took a buttload of money. Hints please!

This is why I have 2 accounts one my pay checkes go into and a nouther my tax returns are deposited into and that is where fish stuff money comes from. when I buy some thing she does not know what I pay for or how much. Use your tax refund.

Hmmm....why don't I have one of those "simple" husbands that you can throw beer in the fridge and turn on the TV and "he won't notice" what I spend on the tank!:lol:
And honesty...........don't know if that one will fly either!:lol: Although I must commend you Doug on 42years of marriage! Perhaps in a couple more years when I am in the "work force" again, he won't mind...right now it's sorta noticable when the money comes from his account! He's the only one making $! (Stay at home Mom...) Hard to convince hubby that a $500 Vortech is a much needed piece of equipment!
What a Hobby we have!~

*sigh* I have my own money and my own account and I'm not allowed to buy "fish stuff" other then food. Might have something to do with all the money I've already sunk into the hobby

Tax return...oh how I wish!

We've always paid taxes on my wife's job and my second job all in one shot so I never have a return.

Must say I felt pretty damn special buying my tank and sump recently. Most I've ever spent (lol...like ~ $200 total) without consulting first. I'm the sole bread-winner now so maybe I can sneak a few past her. Biggest issue is she handles paying the bills etc and I really don't want to...so she sees what I'm up to lol!

You really only need 1 rule...

1. Its much easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission.. :twised:
