I would have to go with a Bariene Tangs, aka Blackspot or Eye-Spot Tangs.

Tang ID

It is more than likely an Acanthurus grammoptilus I have one as well and this is the one that comes close to matching. Nice new Tank.

In other words we have no idea what it is, other than the fact that it is a tang (of some sort!)

That couch will be prime real-estate once you're through! I'd be makin trouble so I could sleep on the couch every night.

Quiz time. Anyone guess where Dez would put his tank in this shot?

Best part about it Brett is that my bed and work desk are like 4 meters away from the tank. I will get some whole basement photos right away here, and let me guess Dez's tank would go right where the mirror is?

I would recommend the powder brown tang A.japonica.
I one with the orange on it.
I would not recommend the following because they are very difficult tanks to keep often getting sick for no apparent reason and dying and taking a few of their tank mates with them
---powder blue tang
---gold rim tang
---achilles tang

Go slow with the additions to the tank though to give your tank time to adjust.

Really nice tank and pics.

Thanks for the suggestion, I was interested in a Powder brown so I will do a little more research on them:biggrin:. In which order should I be adding them?

New photos of the tank as I just brought it home, will be doing the swap over on Wednesday after my last class at around 3.

Wow, how much Coral Snow are you dosing? My tank doesn't get nearly that cloudy when I dose it. All I see is a little puff when it goes through.
