I was just thinking the same thing.

Does anyone keep brains without a sandbed or do they need one?

I have 1 more frag that's pink around the inside with a green center but it is starting to crater for some unknown reason so it currently trying to be nursed back to health.

My brains never looked better for the 2 months that my tank was BB when I first got it going. I just noticed that after going through my photos. Could have been something other than the lack of sandbed though...could have easily been the fact that they had 90 gallons of fresh saltwater, and now I'm lacking in water changes. :o

:lol: You're seeing things. I'm guessing you are refering to the yellow blob on the right side of the tank, it's actually yellow spounge that's growing on the glass, but it is sort of shaped like a seahorse. As much as I like seahorses I can't have one in my tank as it's not a suitable home for them.
