Do you breed them, by chance? I might need to look them up. Maybe. Not like I have ANY animals in my house already!!! LOL |
I don't any pics on this computer, but I used to have a Double Yellow Headed Amazon named Tequila. He was awesome, but I developed a very bad allergy to him as I developed asthma in my teens. He says so many words that he actually doesn't have any bird noises. He is very interactive, not shy about talking at all. Luckily I was able to sell him to a woman I know so I can go see him when I want to. Here is a pic of a DYHA, but not my Tequila. DYHAs start off with little yellow on their heads as babies, and slowly develop more and more as they age.

Here's Thor, Blue front Amazon. I've had him for 21 years and he's just as miserable now as when I got him, I don't have a finger left that does'nt sport one of his bite marks, for some reason he can say "F%#@ING bird" quite well.

Used to have a yellow nape amazon. Great companion, good talker and very gentle. Unfortunately my son had a ton of allergies as a baby and we had to provide him with a relatively allergy free environment. Down-side is that "Simon" had to leave our home but on the upside, my son has outgrown most of his allergies and "Simon" is with one a good friend.
