The price of trucking the products goes up. Which makes those products prices go up and so on and so on. YA

And some of the businesses are adding fuel surcharges above and beyond what the trucking companies are charging them. Also, they don't seem to lower or remove them when the price of fuel goes back down, like last fall.

Its funny, we talk about taxes and all on the gas, what about the profits that the oil companies make?? I know its not illegal to Make A Profit, But Look at Exxon, Last year, first quarter $11.7 BILLION dollars in profit. I think they could afford to make a little less a litre to help the ecconomy, dont ya think?

I just wish eco friendly cars were cheaper or the government offered more rebates to go green. I would love to buy an eco friendly car, but at 40K+ to start it really makes you go Hmmm.

Just insured my Trans Am for another summer. gas prices are high, but when the 462CI of Pontiac Torque slams you back in the seat, you go "OHH YAA"

Michika, if you follow behind me, I bet them eco cars can run on my exhaust LOL. Im not bragging or anyting, just stating that I cant live without my toys.

You must really love your toys. I've been wanting to buy a really nice fancy car as my own personal graduation gift for myself, but gas prices make me balk at the idea.

I bet I could also run an eco-car off one of my dogs if they were converted to that kind of fuel.

I'm driving a 90' Honda Civic Si (30mpg city) and I am seriously considering getting a Honda Fit (43mpg City).

My friend has a Prius, which is very nice but at around ~$35K.......... not worth it.

Cheers,

Instead of complaining about how much oil companies make, join in. Buy some shares in them and enjoy the ride. A totally un Canadian thought, but hey, sometimes I think a little different. As for taxes have you filed yours yet? Enjoy. The "EVIL" United States celebrated tax freedom day today. Anyone care when guess our's is?
