Buttered popcorn, not the microwave kind but oil popped. Seems pretty mundane for you guys though.

I make it all the time, I love it, but we go through a lot of popcorn.

I heard a rumor that Old Dutch Mexican Chilie Chips are back. Has anyone seen these around yet? Best potatoe chip there ever was!

hillbillyreefer 02-27-2008 02:27 AM

Yes they are back. My wife has been wanting them for years and found some on Sunday at the gas station in Coronation, Alberta.

Now she can quit whining about that one.

Glad you like the Teddy's and CC...

A baked apple tonite in the microwave, some cottage cheese with those fruit jelly guys mixed in... gotta keep it healthy this time of night...

Popcorn I love...some melted mozza/parmesan with barbeque spice thrown on...yummy

Tell me more about this parmesan/mozza business with BBQ spice. It sounds appealing.

  • extra sharp cheddar melted on crackers
  • peanut m&m's!
  • pita & hummus
  • those sweet & salty granola bars--damn.

I like to do Triscuit crackers with just about anything - my favourite is with sharp cheddar, hot peppers, black olives and green onions.

The crackers are great because you can just microwave the entire concoction to melt the topping but the crackers stay nice and crisp - better than tortilla chips!

If you add some meat to it (i.e. spicy ground beef) it becomes a meal that takes you less than half an hour to prepare.
