You might be able to get away with a container of sand hidden in a corner of the tank. Mine only has an inch or two but no problems.

Hey Tang Daddy

In your search of FW did you ever come across of what was in Saliferts eXit
I have looked for the Health Canada notice that banned eXit but have not been able to find it.

last time i had them, every square inch of my 200lbs of rock was covered, I mean you could barely even see the rock. I noticed 3 on sunday, now i've got about 200. you definately don't want them to get out of hand.

btw, Ocean aquatics still has some exit in stock.

My mandarin & leopard both ate flatworms but were no match for their reproduction rate. Maybe if I had siphoned at the same time but I ended up treating anyways.

dosed with FE yesterday, and not one flatworm visible today :)

That's good. Now...just don't give up on it like I did. As soon as you see one again, siphon and treat again. I believe that if you repeat that a few times, you'll win. I doubt you will get them all with one single treatment.

I did a second treatment a week later and I haven't seen a flatworm in 2 1/2 months (except in my nightmares). I think the trick is to treat everything that goes into your tank from now on.

Yellow Canary wrasses are God's gift to reefers when it comes to flatworms IMHO & IME. My Leopard kept their numbers from spreading & the Yellow wrasse totally eradicated them in a week or two.

As a bonus, Yellow wrasses stay small, are beautiful & totally cool fish.
