Ok talked to some people at B.A they said no also. So I'm thinking of the dwarfs the pic muck put up is awesome. I do already have bolivian rams in another tank that have spawned once, I think they may have spawned again because one hid inside a hollow log for a couple days. I do like german, and gold rams also. Maybe a collection of rams or some other dwarfs and maybe angel fish for the top half??

Freshwater Red "Lobster" from Pisces would look great in there. Also some smaller schooling fish such as minnows (cheap so if it gets eaten...just buy more).

Just my opinion.

You could also think about going with Bifrenatus cichlids-- they're cute and small... or maybe something like Lelupi -- or juliedochromis, My advice is if ur going to try and do small cichlids like malawi mbuna or tangynika cichlids, pile ur rock up higher, especially for julies... that would be a cute tank-- add some Java Fern and toss a bunch of different julies in-- that would definitely be neat!

But i also like the idea of rams-- they are sooo pretty-- but then you'll need to soften up the water a bit..etc.

best of luck!

FYI - listen to what Muck is saying, Mbuna & Aulonocara are simply not suited to a tank with that dimensions. (and that includes A. cobue)
