Stravinsky, Ravel, Debussy.

I will second that except for the Ravel, and Stravinsky because modern stuff hurts my ears.

I like Beethoven's "Pathetique" Sonata and moonlight sonata. Bach's "Air on G String" is a cool song too.

Yngwie Malmsteen's "Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra in E Flat Minor Op. 1" is something different, but none-the-less very cool.

Enigma- The Screen Behind The Mirror. (The whole damn album).

and...what about solo artists?...do they count?

Edie Brickell- Circle
Enya- Carribean Blue

I haven't heard that name since I was 14 or 15. Is he still putting out music? Are you an Alan Holdsworth fan as well?

Today's artists of the day

Dylan: Everythings Broken
The Band: Cripple Creek
Kid Rock: Cowboy Baby

Yeah, I'm with you and muck as well, best band you never heard of.

As for the modern country, I do enjoy Corb Lund but I'm more of a Sadies, Tom Wilson and Be Good Tanyas fan.
