The minimum increment is $10. You can bid $10.11 if you want. You can bid $12.46 if you want. As long as its ten bucks more than the last bidder.

Got it... any other tricks?

just an fyi, if you buy something privately out of auction.. ie he tells you his high bidder jammed and he will sell to you for x.. then your auction falls outside of ebays jurisdiction, meaning you have no recourse if he never ships the item and rips you off. you can also not offer any feedback or likewise.

Edit: Just re-read the message and yes it does apply... not sure what to do now..
Would that apply to the "second chance"? Walter Quote:

Sorry, missed that...

Hey Walter,
Don't know how hot a deal that price is on the camera, but I just got my camera today from Cameta Cameras (huge ebay seller.. their feedback went from 86000 to 92000 in the time it took my camera to ship and arrive) and had great luck with them. No duty at all (just GST/PST) and I figure I saved at least a grand on the camera and accessories. http://www.cameta.com/ The average selling price for the Nikon I was bidding on was around 925 bucks, but I wanted to cap myself at around 900.. Just kept bidding 900 on every one that popped up (they do about 10 a day for the package) and lucked out one Sunday morning at 850! |
To be honest I knew it was not a great deal. I think I bid higher just because I was mad  I found the same camera for $419 online in Canada and $15 for shipping... I think I'll order from them unless I find a even better deal.
I've capped myself at $500 for this purchase. Water |
Walter, what camera are you looking at?
|
Fuji FinePix S5100.
Know of a better place to get a deal? Walter |
