Shipping in Canada is $8.00 for 1 and $12.00 for 2. I would use the m620 on 3 foot or less size tanks 4 foot and above I would use the m820 and for lots of flow use 2 or more. Thanks

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that I just ordered two of the smaller ones myself. I'll let you know how I fare!

I just called Jayson this afternoon and spoke with him for a while.

FYI, he spent as much time with me as I needed, letting him know the direction I was taking with the tank. He helped me with the pros and cons of different power heads...kudos to him, he also upsold me to two of the smaller pumps vs. one of the bigger ones  !

Ah, the joy of consumerism! Can't wait to get them, maybe this will get me off my ass to post some new pix!

Best,

Rob

Would you use just one M620 on a tank less than 36", and get rid of the other powerheads in the tank  . My tank is 30"X20"x20", and does not contain SPS corals.

I have a Tunze stream 6060 on a 4' x 2' x 2' tank (120 gallons) and I think it is too much flow. There is a mix of hard and soft coral frags in the tank. There is no quiet place in the tank to place mushrooms etc, my green hairy mushrooms got blown all over the tank despite being super-glued down. Maybe I should downgrade to the Seio.

Well just ordered the Seio from Jason and hope it works out better than the stream.

What about using some cut-off MaxiJets for that tank, Bob? Christy seemed to be impressed with the non-linear flow those produced.

Actually there is already a cutoff MJ 900 in the tank. There is also a AC 402 that has to blow downward as it kills snails. Therefore I ordered a M620 to replace those two if possible.

what's a "cutoff' maxijet?
