i picked up an Xbox one in november.
Been having fun with it , voice control works fairly well , system has some neat features . Very quiet. love the new controller At the end of the day I use it to play games , Seems to do exactly that. lol . Would like to also get a PS4 at some point. Each system tends to get a few exclusives every year that are definitely worth playing. I have always had both systems, I choose to buy the xbox one first this time around , because there was just something about it that peaked my interest more then the PS4.. again , once you are playing a game (and that game is fun) none of the other details seem to matter just IMO |

I'm torn as to which system to buy. I do know that I will be waiting at least until the spring before I purchase either. I had bought my Xbox 360 at launch, and I got the red ring of death. Five times!! I kid you not! It got to a point where I knew Xbox customer service number by heart and I was telling the rep what steps I needed to do in order to send my unit out for "repairs". I was thrilled the first couple if times when they gave me "new" units but even that hot tedious after the third time having the same RROD issue. When my fifth unit failed, they said that I would have to pay for the repairs. That's when I bought my PS3. I def like the Xbox controller more and xbox's online system makes ps network look like an afterthought. PSN just isn't very gamer friendly IMO and I'm no hardcore gamer by any means. I know you pay to play online with Xbox but I'm ok with that. Heck, even the first gen PS3 had their share of hardware problems right?
So I'm very much on the fence as to which system to buy. But I got until spring to figure it out:biggrin: |
