taco season on popcorn...why did I not discover this sooner.

lastlight 02-09-2011 06:04 AM

You were using your taco seasoning on MEAT like the rest of us? Just sayin' =)

And holy hell I really want some late night tacos now.

Sounds kind of nasty, but somehow I'm intrigued...

The language barrier produces interesting results: I ordered a spicy chicken salad sandwhich, I got non-spicy chicken salad full of diced grapes...

Elos...NEWSFLASH.

If you didn't try and make you're retarded little measuring scoops fancy with the raised labels on them...when I try and scoop a level spoon out of that ridiculous little container (which is more fun the lower the levels get) then crystals wouldn't get STUCK on those labels. I dig and scoop and shake that damn spoon for 5 minutes before I have a level scoop with no extras on the handle.

Wow crazy that both of you are expecting twins! Congrats to you both  I come from a family history were twins run in my family every other generation so there is a strong chance if I ever got pregnant I'd have twins :surprise: and people wonder why I like the idea of adoption so much

jorjef 02-19-2011 03:18 PM

With some Wally Worlds open 24 hrs it doesn't seem too surprising.....

Doug 02-20-2011 01:30 AM

well yes and no ive been doing good with baby purchases.. this weekend i saves 200 bucks on stroller and car seats. the wife wanted a secific stroller i found someone selling the exact one on used regina. for 80 bucks less thanthe stores and it was only used for 1 month. and since we are having twins some stores will give you the last best sale price if your buying multiple items. so the carseats new where 220ea gt them for 140.ea.

it never hurts to ask for discounts lol.. still costly but its worth it in the end. not to mention i have awesome inlaws who are buying us the 2 cribs and dressers. as well offered to pay for all diapers for 1 year.

my father inlaw offers to supply the rum whenthey visit lol

freezetyle 02-22-2011 02:59 AM

curiosity finally got the best of me... William Shatners cd (has been). Not so bad...

jorjef 02-22-2011 03:19 AM

When test the calcium level is there any reason I can't go.... 5 drops shake shake shake......5 drops shake shake shake..... 5 drops shake shake shake.... Isn't one drop shake only neccesary towards the end.....That is one tedious and boring test...........

We are having fraternal twins so I won't have the problem of telling which one is which. I'm battling my wife though, even though they are fraternal she still wants to dress them alike arrrrrgggg!

We are lucky in a way, both of our parent are divorced and remarried so we have 4 sets of Grandparents to help us out.. lol One set showed up with the stroller on the weekend.

My sister works at one of the large chain baby stores and can help us out with some of the prices.

Hard to believe it's been 7 years since they came out with oneof the coolest bikes ever.. I drove three hours to pick up my.... er my sons. (wasn't available in Canada yet and glad I didn't wait the Canadian version it sucked) Still have it in the garage in near mint condition, I think I only let him ride.... I mean he only wanted to ride it a couple of times. How can a 4" wide rear tire not be cool!!!

Why is the canreef clock set to Greenwich Mean time??....Seems it's also set for EDT ...a bit confusing..

Delphinus 02-22-2011 09:10 PM

Ah! Well I can answer that one, that's a user setting. Go to your Control Panel ("User CP") on the menu bar, then "Edit Options" then scroll down to Time & Date settings, in there is the timezone for which to display the time for you. :)

jorjef 02-22-2011 09:37 PM

Well thank you very much... all seems to by aligned

jorjef 02-22-2011 10:40 PM

LMAO I found the fabled "ignore list" in the user CP. I thought it was folklore, something only grandma talked about, but it's real lololololololol. What other treasures will I find.

jorjef 02-22-2011 10:45 PM

" Invisible mode" ??? I'm not sure what to think lol

The sun'll come out, tomorrow!
Bet your bottom dollar, that tomorrow
There'll be sun!
Just thinkin' about, tomorrow!
Clears away the cobwebs, and the sorrow
'Til there's none!

whatcaneyedo 03-06-2011 03:36 AM

I just noticed today that one of our local ski hills charges $1for hot water. I've been skiing for 20 something years and never have I had to pay for hot water! Needless to say I didn't pay. Actually this is the third time I haven't paid. If they ever confront me on the matter I'll just give them their hot water back and fill up my cup from the hot water tap in the bathroom!

New Tank Build

I am thinking of building a new tank. Would the skimmer on the right be the one I would need?
