That album was always on constant play growing up and we've adopted it now as well. Classic german goodness!

i thought we were the only people who played that non-stop at christmas. I can still remember my mother starting that cd at 8am screaming the lyrics out while vacuuming. im not sure who sounded better... her or the vacuum:question:

lastlight 12-13-2010 07:47 PM

Yeah my mom would dance and sing to that as well. It's too bad we couldn't afford a camcorder back in the day haha. I was also a huge fan of snoopy's christmas...red baron etc. These were all on vinyl.

So I'm curious. When is it in recent times that having an active imagination has become a medical "problem" ? Seriously, what the hell?

jorjef 12-13-2010 08:04 PM

Bought this a year or two ago...wow does it bring back memories..was listening to it last night. A must for the 40 plus crowd lol

Been bathing my son for maybe 30 min and to my horror I've seen more diddling than George Michaels has in a lifetime. I'm creeped out but he seems happy enough.

jorjef 12-14-2010 01:24 AM

When my son was little he played it like it was a bango, and the more you laughed the longer he played.

Guess it depends on what your imagining.....but it sounds ridiculous to me. Without the gift of imagination where are we?

Murminator 12-14-2010 04:00 AM

I neeeeeed to get some Christmas shopping done. Already 13 days in had 3 days off 10 days on with 57 hrs overtime already this month. I have to go to Oilers games on Tues and Thurs so leaves little time for shopping

When you change my little cousin's diaper the first thing he does is grab his little thinger there and tug on it...like TUG on it.

Also:
I wish people would NOT touch parts of the tank I tell them to leave alone. Then I wouldn't get frantic phone calls all the way from Jersey going "The tank's all cloudy! So and So wanted to feed it yesterday and pressed the wrong thing on the vortech so it was at 100% until I got into work today" (they've now gone to shift work at the shop, so Ernie is only in every second day)...I told him 2 feedings every second day will do no harm to the tank...quit letting stupid people touch the tank. :bad-word:

Agreed.

Why is this a problem exactly and how are they justifying it as medical?

Trabby 12-14-2010 06:54 PM

Were off to see the wizard......
I just won tickets to the musical tonight, my daughter is going to be sooo excited!!

lastlight 12-14-2010 10:48 PM

I'm in the middle of a waterchange and my daughter has an episode of explosive diarrhea. Wife is out of commission on the couch with a migraine and my son is running around with a pirate sword poking and hitting me. This *must* be what I meant when I agreed to 'for better or for worse'. I just didn't know it at the time

Sounds like a good time for a run.

Delphinus 12-15-2010 03:51 AM

Stop the world, I want to get off.

Never have I ever said these words but FML these days. I'm so far past the point of ever hoping for a little success, I'd suffice for just a lack of failure, one day where I could say "Look at that! Nothing bad! One whole day of nothing too terrible!" .. Noooooo. Not today apparently.

Man alive what did I do to tick off karma so badly? I'm sorry already! Please. I'm sorry.

RIP multicolour splash clam:

WTF/FML/etc. I've had enough of this.

The Grizz 12-15-2010 03:59 AM

That really bite's Tony and I feel your pain, I have lost 5 clams this year alone. That was a beauty for sure.

Borderjumper 12-15-2010 04:08 AM

Damn!:sorry: I've lost 2 myself in the last week

mark 12-15-2010 04:33 AM

thought you lost a clam a little bit back, hope this isn't another loss

lastlight 12-15-2010 05:00 AM

That was a beauty Tony. Hope you're still with us not sure what else to say your luck has been rotten.

Lance 12-15-2010 05:22 PM

I'm feeling for you man. That clam was a beauty.

paddyob 12-15-2010 05:23 PM

SNOW SUCKS @$$!!!! Man shovelling a 70' driveway is nothing short of insanity. Today. Today I buy a snowblower.

so the wife and i watched dispicable me last night, but one preview disturbs me. the little engine that could is being made into a kids movie and in the preview grampa train says to little train.. "i bet you cant wait till you can pull a load some day"...is it just my mind or is this really wrong wording for a kids show.... i think i can i think i can...

Rbacchiega 12-20-2010 11:20 PM

would not object to a pinata for christmas. They just seem to make everything more fun

Delphinus 12-20-2010 11:40 PM

Apparently one should not use a razor blade to cut electrical tape off the role. 4 stitches later my ATO is STILL not set up. :(

My Mom is all "Are you sure you want to finish the basement yourself? You have many other tools you have yet to greivously injure yourself with." Thanks Mom.
