Thanks Mike.

I have a serious problem when it comes to moving everything around, I think I like this new scape so I have a New Years resolution to not move it. I have decided to remove most of my remaining LPS and go back to the twigs (My Red Planet just looks so loonnlleeyyyyy ).

Pssst! Regarding those sweet new Zoas, you mention size in relation to Paly vs Zoa - that is not a reliable way to ID. Easiest way to ID is texture, Palys feel like fine sandpaper, and Zoas will be smooth. Either way, nice Zoas!

Oh, and Flower Anemone or close relative?

True but I have seen real Magician palys before and they are about 4 times the size, I would make the argument that most palys are larger than most zoa species but there is allot of variation out there. I can't think of a single paly/ proto paly that is smaller than my largest zoa, any in your tank?

I can't find any comparable photos of a Red Flower Anemone on google, the tenticals look a fair bit different than everything out there.

Wow, whatever it is, it's nifty, I like it. Was that the only one?

I'm not saying your Zoas are Magicians, I don't think they are. I do have a mini colony of small Palys. I don't know the name of them...they are dark with white speckles all over them.

Try leaving out the red part. Flower Anemones come in many colors, and depending on specie they can look different. That's my best guess, but there's a lot of weird nems out there. Have you touched it? Is it sticky? Did you get a palpable sting? I don't condone touching an unknown nem, though I would do it. :D

It stings? Ooooo, lemme try! That's how I got stung by a Pacific Sea Nettle. They are the only Jellyfish in ocean near Vancouver Island that actually sting...not that I'd know. ;)

Still stumped on an ID, clowns haven't touched it either so I'm doubting the purchase (Although it is a wicked looking nem). It certainty is sticky, in Vegas they have touch tanks where you can poke and prod nems all day long .

Anyone have any insight for influencing my clowns to host? Ken @ Blue world said I should use a clay pot but they completely ignored it and continue to host on silicone. Wont touch the pulsing xenia, Mushrooms or 3 different types of nems.

My bro is heading to Thailand and picked up a new Cannon, really excited to learn how to use it but here are some quick shots.

Wow pics with the new camera def look nicer man.

I'm so envious of ppl able to keep zoas happy. All my params seem to be in order...sps doing really well...zoas love to melt away on me. I have a few patches doing ok but it's frustrating. The larger the colony introduced the better luck I have but even then it's not been a garantee.

Regardless...lemme know when those frags are ready =)
