 My bi-color angel has struck again. This time a lemon/lime acan frag I just brought home. Same thing as with the blasto, he chewed almost all the flesh off. Since he ate the blasto, he hasnt touched the bit he left and it actually is looking like it may recover. Its like he knows that if he eats it all it wont grow back. *formulating strategy*

Lucky thing you work in a well-stocked fish store and can keep on bringing him home fresh food to munch on!

I don't want your bi-color anymore thanks!

My Coral Beauty does the same thing to my Brain Coral. Just picks at it enough to let it stay alive. Little Bastard!

I would still prefer that he ate the frozen, dead in-expensive food rather than the rare blasto and nice acan.

Lance, that sucks man. Does he bug anything else in your tank?

Im not really that mad. Its an angel right? Its not his fault its in his genetic code somewhere, to at some point snap and start eating coral. I just dont like what he decided to eat. I wonder how much a proven xenia eating fish would cost?

Delphinus 01-05-2009 06:20 AM

Ha! Whatever the cost, I'd probably want one too!

Sorry about the corals. Sucks to lose corals that way. I wasn't able to keep blastos or acan's in my 75g and I suspect it may be my CBB. (But, at least he pays the rent by eating aiptasia with extreme prejudice, so I live without blastos or acans. If that isn't an excuse to have a nano on the side, I don't know what is.)

Operation "Bye Bye Bi" has swung into effect. Phase 1- bottle trap, Bait- nori(to minimize civilian casualties).
