Seems to be a lot of Apex issues on the board this year. I wonder wth?

On the other side, your tank looks fabulous and you can't go wrong with THAT new skimmer! :D

Pump and fish

Love those Angels! I hope they are reef safe because one day I would like a pair as well.

Also, how is your pump running? Quiet? No other problems?

I am asking because I will be setting up a 175 gal tank soon.

They are supposd to have a high chance of being reef safe, i dont have any more crabs because of some wrasse, so in that aspect of reef safe not sure.

Which pump are you talking about?

If you want a reef safe angel look into watanbei angels.

I had two, however one was really rough after shipping and didn't make it. I've had the other for a few months and she is a a model citizen

I can't believe how sweet your tank looks in sub a short period of time. The difference between buying colonies and the modern habit of frags!

Post a pic of your mystery tang - I'm sure someone here can ID it!

yeah ive been insisting that i only have pumps on one end.. and adding some pretty demanding sps i need pretty heavy flow on one end while the "slow" end is better for gonis and some lps i want to keep still. I dont need 4, but i dont vacuum much dietrus off the bottom anymore lol. 3 are vertical running contant and one horozontal making waves at the top, gives a nice shimmer and the sps on top are happy. Tangs love it and the caves are clean.

here is this "mystery" tang, its been called a night tang.. best photo i could get, just out of focus.
