Everything looks so wonderful. I'm so envious of all your beautiful colonies! Gorgeous clams too!

Thanks Kelly. I do have a bit of an unfair advantage when it comes to livestock that comes through the shop.

I know I said that I was "swearing off" tangs, but Paully (Red Corals internet guy) recently moved and decided that his yellow tang no longer fit his tank plans. Sooooooooo, I being the glutton for punishment that I am decided to adopt it and give it a new home. When Paully told me about he said that it was big, but after I brought it home, I realized how big it is. Its about the same length as my regal, but with the body shape being so tall he is the new king of the tank. My regal seems to be pouting a bit, not at the front of the tank all day begging for food like usual. The yellow is eating now(didnt for the first couple days) and isnt showing any signs of ich, which has been a constant thorn in my side since I started into saltwater two years ago. I have my fingers crossed and hopefully the tang gods smile upon me.

Heres a couple random recent pics from the tank.

Ive decided to up the flow in the tank and order in two tunze nanostreams 6055s and the multi controller:mrgreen:. So Im thinking the two visible koralias in the tank will be replaced with the tunzes and the two that are stashed behind the rockwork will stay. Although I may swap the stashed "K2" for a "K4". So that will put the movement inside the tank at somewhere near 6000 gph if I run the tunzes "full blast". Im not sure how some of the "more sensitive to flow" things in the tank will fare. I really hope I dont end up needing to re-home anything.

I was actually going to order them before x-mas but my extended "vacation" put an end to that idea. Kevin said he needed to do a tunze order so....Talking to Laurier today just made me feel alot better about my decision. Im getting the osmolator top-off unit too:biggrin:
