Actually since I got the octopus I've placed the fixture directly on top of the tank to prevent the lid from being lifted up (safe measure). So there isn't much problem supporting the cat which only weighs 1.5kg :mrgreen:

I actually wanted a sphinx but the gf would never allow it so I went with a Devon. I think I made the right choice by the sounds of things :biggrin: His mother however was actually half sphinx.

Yes, you can check the first post for updates on livestock. :biggrin: means it's doing really well, :sad: means it's dead, nothing means it's doing OK.

BTW the lights were just turned on before taking these pictures so obviously corals were still closed up for the most part.
