I need to see some photos and know what you are using for bulbs, I am going to be ordering some in soon and since we are running the same light I wanted to match the master, or be close.

i am no master, just got lucky with dosing and some nice corals.

so for blubs i was using the ati, aqua blue special and blue plus.

now i have changed over to the KZ, its a mix between, 10k, 14k and 22k.

well, i thought the tank would have made it to at least a year maturity, but only after 6 months, I am going to be shutting my tank down.

I am going to take a year off from reef keeping and hopefully come back to it, with some new ideas for an awesome layout and something cooler than this tank.
i have a few ideas already, so its kinda exciting again.

but for now, that will be just on paper, and in the back of my mind.

Well, sorry to hear that dude but you will not make it a year without a tank unless you are seeking some very expensive counsilling at the same time to cope without one! Sorry for the lack of faith bud but I give it 7 months MAX before you start to fire up again.

I double checked to see if it was April 1st but it's not even close. Damn dude...I guess do what ya gotta but DAMN! Looking forward to V3 =)

i am thinking that next friday will be the day to start to shut down.
and i will contact people within the time frame to get things sorted out, some frags will be sold and others given away as insurance pieces.

Like i might have said before, i should come back within a year times, and i am treating this as a creativity break like Ferran Adria, so needless to say its quite exciting.

so in regards to the pms i have about my tank, yes its true, its going to be shut down.
I was hoping for tomorrow, but timing isnt going to work out.

yes, i will be fragging again, to those interested 10-15$ a frag
no, equipment is not for sale.

So as of now it will be the closer to early next week as i have a few days off coming up.

I am really glad we met John! You really are a true inspiration to all of us here at Canreef. From what I know of you, very modest as well. We will miss watching your tanks grow and coming over to see your setup. I hope that you come back within the timeline that you have stated....we will all be waiting for that day to come.
