The picture shows up more green but the crab is very black. Does look like its from the mithrax famaliy for sure. This was just the "shed" from last nights molt. Ya great...its growing:neutral:

Aw man...if you only knew. Almost once a day someone asks "how much for those zoas" and then its followed by a "aw cmon... everything is for sale right?" Once the big tank gets set up they will be back at the shop, hopefully spawning frags.
I started operation "hacro" The hacking off of the ugly PITA concrete bases that some of my acros are on. The bases have a nub of concrete on the bottom that makes them near impossible to just place on the rock. Some of the bases are almost 2" tall, and thats 2" less room that the acros will have to grow before I have to start pruning. Every little inch matters right? So the bases have to go. It is proving to be a little more difficult than I thought it would be. I expect that there will probably be frags.
Here are the parameters. Dkh is Elos, the rest are Salifert. nitrate 10, ph 8.0, mag 1290:surprise:, ca 360:surprise:, dkh 7 . Water change 1 week ago with kzrb salt, dosing nothing. Ca was 480 and mag was 1380 the day after the w/c. Suddenly (probably not so suddenly as I been lazy with the testing) my tank is using ca and mag...hmmm wonder why:lol: I am the type that is bad for remembering to do things like dose calcium every day, so I see a reactor and a dosing pump in my near future methinks... oh Santa.
