I target feed everything using a "Julian's thing" and a turkey baster. I find broadcasting is a big mess. Even target feeding is still a bit of a messy affair. I've been playing around with simulated continuous feed for the gorgonians and watching the feed response and I am quite skeptical about how effective continuous feed systems are.

Dendrophyllia Arbuscula spewing sperm and egg

I came home and noticed all my fish "hanging out" near my dendro coral so I looked to see what was going on. I realized the dendro was spewing egg/sperm into the water column and all the fish were eating it (or biting at it anyways). Ran and got this on my iphone. This was fairly continuous and was repeating itself every 5-10 minutes. I captured more it on my DSLR and will have a longer edited version later.

Think its a matter of finding just the right lighting spot with the purple dragon. Yeah the wire coral is NPS.

Sexy pics! Did you mount the purple dragon high or low and does yours like lots or low flow?

mid to high with tons of flow (its right near a small powerhead).
