Cool good to see another reefer from stony, I know who to bugg when the time comes to set them up, we are in the fairways.

Dimensions are simply amazing. Can't wait to see this up and running. I followed your 180 build, and it was a very inspirational tank.

Nice tank Wes. Let me know when its time to stock that bad boy up!

Nope, but I have family that does. I work as a field mechanic for finning in the compact general construction line. I spend most of my time in the shop tho, and it's good there is basically only two of us in the city that work on the product line everyone else hates skidsteers mini loaders and mini excavators.

Delphinus 11-29-2012 02:57 PM

Sorry if I missed this in an earlier post but what are those mondo wood beams for? (Will this be a sit-down bar?) Where did you find those beams?

wmcinnes 11-29-2012 03:01 PM

I'm loving this. Will definately reference this build in the future for a big peninsula room divider.

GracieLou 11-29-2012 03:29 PM

Beams are going through the plainer today and sanded down these will be a ledge more to separate the stone and the canopy. These beams are being build at a local log home manufacturer.

BlueTang<3 11-29-2012 04:05 PM

To Wayne Gracie and kien thanks its been a ton of work but coming together have to thank outta control for all the help he has been giving me.

wickedfrags 11-29-2012 05:24 PM

Great work with the canopy. What are your plans for the beams? I may have missed it...

Not planning on bringing the stonework up flush to glass are you?

Seriak 11-29-2012 05:28 PM

How did you attach the stone to the wood? Mortar? Adhesive?

wickedfrags 11-29-2012 05:42 PM

Ya!!! And also how did you come to decide on wood rather than cement board?

Looking great you're wasting no time!

BlueTang<3 11-29-2012 06:02 PM

I am just using pl premium to attach the stone, i know this is not how they recommend attachig it but was way cleaner and more pratical for me. The stone will be brought up to bottom of the bar ledge left a bunch for now for the ledges.

I was starting to think you were intentionally not laying stone all the way to the top lol. Your handiwork turned out beautifully. i'd def sip my diet pepsi there.

are you planning on leaving that powerhead at the end of the tank?

fishoholic 12-16-2012 11:28 PM
