Pit vs. Phi what a train wreck lol!! I haven't seen a game like that in awhile. The benches were empty.

Snufflupagus 04-15-2012 10:17 PM

Crosby = biggest puss in the league.

subman 04-15-2012 10:25 PM

This has been the most intense playoffs in years. All the series have been on the edge, except the panthers (so far) Its a good time of year!!

bignose 04-15-2012 10:35 PM

I couldn't believe the Senators won yesterday, that was an awesome surprise for me. I drank one for the Sens after that win.

I think Kessler might be in that conversation!! The diving is GROSS!! I actually gained a little respect for Crosby in that game, he showed some gamesmanship trying to get his team to WAKE UP!

I don't like either Pennsylvania teams so I love that they are killing each other lol

I loved that they came back swinging (literally) for game two. This is the best two weeks of the year when it comes to hockey, I love round one.

We do agree on something  I was hoping for a 7 game series though. Too bad it's gonna be over next game.
It's 1-0 LA at the moment. Soon it will be 3-0 LA over Vancouver. Can you say sweep??? I am loving every moment of this

With you 100% on both accounts. I could watch them kill each other for the full 7 games no problem!

I am surprised at how good the Kings look. They looked terrible for most of the year.....Even Penner looks good

BlueWorldAquatic 04-16-2012 05:31 AM

Damn, late for work because of the LA / Van game

Brown for prime minister

MMAX 04-16-2012 12:02 PM

Not trying to be a @$$hole. But I hope they do sweep.

If LA wins at home there won't be 20,000 people filing to the Vancouver street to riot. If Van wins game 4 then they run the risk of losing game 5 in Van with a stadium full of people on top of the bar crowd.

I'm sure the cops will be far more prepared this time around. But I would hate to see it turn into the same thing as last year.

There might be 50,000 people filing to the LA street to riot instead  But then, the LAPD should be used to it by now with all the riots whenever the Lakers win a championship.

Half way, Red Deer. Then Griz can join too. I doubt the Red Deer police are equipped for a riot. We might stand a better chance of survival

Oilers 04-16-2012 05:01 PM

Hahaha. I think we are safe with Grizz's wolf pack. No police would want to go against them :twised:

parkinsn 04-16-2012 08:14 PM

This made me LOL.

@DarynJones: TRUE STORY: This morning I dropped my car keys and Sidney Crosby kicked them into the sewer.

The red mile was never out of control. Edmonton, yes there was a a few incidents there for sure but nothing like Vancouver. There was 60,000 people on the Red Mile. There were no arresst made other than public urination, and indecent exposure. No burning, no looting, no fighting. Please see link below.

Feel free to find me link to back up that Calgary rioted.

Sry your right about Calgary I was thinking Edmonton Canada day riot which had looting burning and fighting and Stanley cup which had burning and fighting minus looting because of the police force. Imho the size doesn't make it any more excusable there just as guilty

They are a huge underdog, even winning one game is big lol.

subman 04-16-2012 11:47 PM

off the top of my head they have home ice advantage with 12 less points!! That is their Stanley Cup! The rats are the best thing about that series...zero emotion.

BlueWorldAquatic 04-16-2012 11:51 PM

I was downtown for the edmonton one in the 80's (left as soon as it started. compared to the vancouver two in the last 10 years you could hardley call it a riot. it was a party with a couple *******s. yes a cop car got turned over but the firedepartment turned the hoses on the crouds and everyone went home real fast. -23 and wet is not good

I'm not surprised. I don't see how we made it so far last year. Maybe it was an Earth Day thing and they didn't want to use any energy ?
I'm just glad I saved my money and stayed home this year.

The Grizz 04-23-2012 03:43 AM

HELL YAAAAA!!!!!!! Second round here we come!! To bad it wasn't a sweep and at home in the Staples Center.
