Keep the buzz !!!

BlueWorldAquatic 03-02-2012 02:26 AM

JUst a quick update from our supplier.

We were a bit concerned in the size of the clams, and if they required hand feeding. We were notified that they have had these clams for awhile, and DO NOT require hand feeding.

Just good water quality, and lighting.

Remember, the pre-orders are until sunday to receive the discount, and preferred selection.

The clams are schedulled to arrive late next week.

BlueWorldAquatic 03-03-2012 09:33 AM

Just a reminder, you only have until Sunday closing to pre-order

Remember advantages of preordering
- guarenteed clam
- 10% discounted price
- early selection of the clams, as they will not be open to the public until the pre-orders are delected.

So how does this work for out of towners? Are you going to post pics of every clam and we can choose the one we want on line?

Yes, Each Clam will be labelled individually. Pictures will be posted and we will do our best to accomodate their picks.

If multiple people choose a single clam, we will arbitrate until all parties are satified.

Last time I had clams similar to this we almost had fist fights in the store, we have learned from that experience.

There should be enough choices to satisfy everyone.

This order has been in the making for 2 years, and we don't know when the next time they will become avalable in the future.

Multiple & group order of clams will also be further discounted.

BlueTang<3 03-03-2012 02:58 PM

I'm still good for 5 right

BlueWorldAquatic 03-03-2012 03:32 PM

what not 50?

I was hoping you'd help us fill the CITES.

BlueWorldAquatic 03-03-2012 04:09 PM

for pre-order payment, you can do the following

contact Kelly or myself

We take all forms of payment, Visa, MC, Amex, paypal, EMT, and even cash

whatcaneyedo 03-03-2012 04:58 PM

This is a bit confusing. What is the relationship between BWA and The Reef Shoppe? Was there a business merger?

Form what I understand Ken & Kelly work together to bring in all the nice stuff we all want and love. Doing this together allows them to bring in bigger shipments at a better price giving us as consumers a better price as well. On is a vendor here the other not any more. :noidea:

Edit: Sorry Ken if I stepped on your toes but I think its a good business decision what you do, it make a lot of sense for Blue World to keep bringing in the stuff we crave. Kelly not interested.

BlueWorldAquatic 03-03-2012 07:42 PM

Actually BWA & TRS was an intellectual merger, we found working together we were able to share permit fees and other information. Nothing bad can come from 2 well known stores working together.

Kelly will be responsible for the BWA Online (oops, shouldn't had said anything), there will be a few announcements soon.

Big Tang 03-04-2012 03:22 AM

Pmd. Ken put me down for two.

BlueWorldAquatic 03-04-2012 02:17 PM

Final day for pre-orders.

Accepting them at the store until 5, or online until midnight

MMAX 03-04-2012 06:22 PM

PM sent your way

Got it in.

BlueWorldAquatic 03-05-2012 04:03 PM

Finally, order has been placed.

Thank you for those that pre-ordered. We wated to maximize this CITES as we don't know if we were going to make another order anytime soon.

BlueWorldAquatic 03-05-2012 09:14 PM

we had a bit of a issue with the clam order.

The supplier had run out of the smaller blue rim derasa's, but offered us larger ones instead. we will absorb the cost on our end, so if you ordered a derasa, you may get a larger one than listed.

Proteus 03-05-2012 10:02 PM

Now I want a derasa. Lol

doch 03-05-2012 10:20 PM

DAMN IT ! :twised:

BlueWorldAquatic 03-06-2012 02:01 AM

Order has been placed. Arrival date is Thursday in the morning, pics will be posted shortly after acclimation

Keep you all posted

BlueWorldAquatic 03-06-2012 02:40 PM

We have a limited supply of extra clams that we will have for store stock.

Until they arrive, you can still pre-order them

BlueWorldAquatic 03-06-2012 06:26 PM

We are expecting this order at 930 in the morning on Thursday, they should be in our tanks by noon baring any delays.

After that We will be posting pictures for peope to see and decide on what they want.

Each pre-paid will have 24 hours to pick anonymously.

If more than one person picks the same clam, we will do our best to arbitrate, and may offer a better deal to one person that takes his second choice.

Think this will be fair as possible, and we will accomodate everyone as best as we can.

Ken

MMAX 03-07-2012 12:36 PM

What's the best way to pick? Phone call? PM?

BlueTang<3 03-07-2012 12:39 PM

Ken I will have to camp out at the store, just to get best selection.

BlueWorldAquatic 03-07-2012 01:56 PM

triggereef 03-07-2012 10:13 PM
